Phiten Titanium Necklaces?

Earlier this evening, I picked up a black, 18", Phiten Titanium necklace. I have a few questions:

Are they waterproof? Would I be able to wear it in a chlorinated swimming pool?

Also (Just a random little question), do the colors have any significance? For instance, I saw they had a blue one at Dick's, and I saw the Pittsburgh Pirates (I live in Pittsburgh) wearing pink necklaces on Mother's Day.

a lot of the special pink jewelry is a reference and in support of the women fighting against breast cancer.

Don't know about the waterproof. I myself don't wear any jewelry into a chlorinated swimming pool as the chlorine is quite aggressive.
