Migraine sufferers will tell you that there is no pain like that of a migraine headache. An episode can mean hours or even days of incapacitation and symptoms that include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, blurred vision, and sensitivity to light, noise, and smell. The triggers of a migraine may be different for each person but their suffering is the same, as is their desire to find effective treatment that will alleviate - or even prevent - migraines. How to get relief from calf cramps?
I am 48 years old female. Having cramps in my legs & hands for several years. No medicines given relief. I'm looking like fat, but anaemic. Please help me to get cure.
Leg cramps are a common medical problem and can be quite bothersome to the patient. I am assuming you mean a tightness of your calf muscles causing your toes to sometimes curl, in contrast to a feeling of restless or wanting to move the legs when resting.
There are no good investigations to determine the cause of leg cramps. It is believed to be due to abnormalities in sodium, potassium or magnesium levels.
I have found that taking half a teaspoon of salt with 8 oz of water once a month or every second month alleviates this problem. I am unable to provide you with scientific data regarding this but this recommendation is from my observations.
