I've been looking for a good massage chair for under $800 (preferably less) with the leg massager. I'm interested in the ijoy 320, but I can't fint it for under $999 anywhere! Any suggestions?

I did find an ijoy 100 with ottoman for $500+ but I haven't tried the ijoy 100. Is it worth it?

I purchased on for $250 on special at Kmart reg price was $450 however it does the complete body in pulsating vibrations. The type of massage you want depends on what your personal preference is. My son has a chair insert $250 which gives a shiatzu style massage. My advice is to watch out for specials, ask stores for their best offer and offer cashe, you'd be surprised how far they can drop something. Try ebay, if all else fails suggesst to your family and pitch in and pay for some of it for you for Christmas.

This review will take an in-depth evaluation of the Human Touch HT-125 shiatsu massage chair. Human Touch is one of the largest companies and has the most comprehensive line on the market today. Human Touch is known for its realistic massage feeling. The Human Touch HT-125 is a low range model in the $1,000 to $2,500 price range. This review will show some of the advanced features of the this shiatsu massage chair.

Human Touch is a giant in the field of massage recliners and has over 30 models at almost every price point. Human Touch has built up an array of distribution channels and can be found all across the country. Human Touch has been an innovator in this industry and has some patents covering technology they have developed. One of the more famous patents is the flipping ottoman. This is a unique feature, where the ottoman flips to expose a calf massager. The ottoman can be flipped back over to make it look more like a regular leather recliner.

What about the warranty of this Human Touch massage chair? Human Touch provides just an average warranty directly from the manufacturer. The standard coverage from the manufacturer covers 3 years structure, 1 year parts, 90 days labor. In home service is available for $225 for the first hour and $150 each additional hour. Human Touch provides below average warranty protection for the customer. An extended warranty can be purchased at an additional fee. Human Touch makes good chairs, but their warranty needs to be beefed up to better protect the customer.

How is the Human Touch HT 125 shiatsu massage chair? Let us start with the design and aesthetics. Human Touch makes an attractive chair that looks more like an executive chair than a massage chair. The flipping ottoman helps get rid of the somewhat bulky calf massage. Human Touch does an excellent job with putting this chair on a large round base, which gives it a striking design. The is a comfortable recliner and comes in a wide assortment of colors.

The Human Touch HT 125 massage recliner has the following manual massages: partial roll, full roll, kneading, compression, percussion and kneading+percussion. Human Touch incorporates the latest version of robotic massage which is patterned after the same techniques used by professional massage therapists. There are 3 automatic programs in the chair. Overall, this massage chair recliner does a solid, thorough job on the back to loosen tight muscles and ease aches and pains.

The HT-125 massage chair by Human Touch also comes with a shoulder height adjustment. The shoulder height adjustment allows the user to select from 3 shoulder types: tall, medium, or short. Use the shoulder height adjustments to position the rollers for maximum comfort. Put in manual mode and pinpoint a specific area of your body. Let the rollers work a given massage at one specific area to relieve soreness and tension. The leg rest can be used to massage either your calves or feet. The leg rest also comes with a stretch function which will perform a gentle full body stretch. The gentle body stretch is helpful to improve joint mobility. To get a foot massage, the user must raise the foot rest and bend their knees and put their feet on the calf massage.

Human Touch builds some impressive shiatsu massage chairs and this is no exception. This sleek looking executive looking chair can fit well in most any room. The nice feature is the leg rest. The user can flip the leg rest, so the leg wells are hidden from view. This avoids some of the aesthetic problems with many massage recliners. This is one of the better designed chairs in the Human Touch line up. The HT-125 shiatsu massage chair is a good value and provides a nice, soothing massage.

Steve is a wryly veteran of the massage therapy industry and has been fortunate have tried virtually every massage therapy technique.
We will present a review and evaluation of the HT 1650 massage recliner by Human Touch. This is a full size recliner that converts into a massage recliner. This is a luxury massage chair with many therapeutic massage functions. This review will go through the main functions of the chair and also present the warranty coverage for your consideration.

The warranty coverage is important to remove risk away from the buyer and keep it with the manufacturer. After all, you the consumer are taking a risk any time you buy a product. The idea of a warranty is to balance out the risk equation. Massage chairs consist of both mechanical, electrical and computer systems. We always recommend going with the top name brands to avoid taking undue risk with these big ticket items. Certainly, one can find cheaper massage chairs, but you are also taking much greater risks.

Let us take a look at the warranty coverage provided by Human Touch for the HT 1650.

With this model, you get 5 years on the structure of the chair. They also give you 3 years of parts. Labor is 1 year and field service or in home technician service is provided for 90 Days. This is a luxury level massage recliner and the warranty coverage is pretty good. This warranty is more on par with the top manufacturers in the industry.

This massage chair comes with 4 manual massage functions. The manual massage functions include: rolling, compression, kneading and percussion. There are also 8 automatic programs which include: full body sore muscle relief, sports and back therapy, leg- foot-hip therapy, neck-shoulders relief, after work stretch, morning wake up, night time soothing, and massage demonstration. Each of these automatic massage functions provides for targeted relief of particular areas.

Before selecting a manual massage function, you can select the acupoint detection. The acupoint detection system performs a scan of your body. The chair will detect your individual acupoints. These are trigger points located throughout your back of which there are almost 100. The computer then records these points and will then stimulate them when performing certain massage techniques like shiatsu. To perform the scan you manually have to set the shoulder height and lower the massage intensity.

The HT-1650 comes with a hidden calf and foot massager. The calf and foot massage doubles as a regular leg rest when not being used for massage. This calf and foot massager is hidden in the front of the chair. The massager can be flipped to reveal the calf and foot massager. This is a great feature in that the calf and foot massager can be hidden from view when not in use.

The calf and foot massager is used for providing a compression massage to either the feet or calves. The compression massage utilizes a squeeze, hold and release technique favored by massage therapists around the world. The calf and foot massage uses a compressor to deliver pressurized air to the airbags which perform the compression massage. This massage is very invigorating and relieving for tight calves and for loosening up the feet after a long day.

The massage remote control is thin and has controls on twos sides. The main controls are on the front of the remote and the massage comfort, heat and roller position are located on the side. The remote fits into an upholstered pocket on the side panel of the recliner. There is no remote stand which is nice. The concept of the HT 1650 is to have a massage chair hidden inside a normal upholstered recliner. We think Human Touch has very effectively accomplished this goal. Overall, this is a very effective massage recliner with some therapeutic massage therapies in the luxury class of massage chairs.

The HT-1650 Massage Chair is the first of its kind that really hides the massage aspects of the recliner. This massage recliner can fit in virtually any room in the house and is ideal for those who want massage therapy without the look of a massage chair. We also carry other models from the Human Touch Massage Chair product line.

What is the best type of Acne treatment?

I dont have terrible acne but i have been starting to get more acne on my chin and nose lately. its not alot. its just spotty. like a few pimples on my nose and 1 or 2 on my chin. What is the best type of acne treatment for this? I hear the new Neutrogina "wave" massager works nice. I also hear good things about the proactive system. What do you think? Thanks!

Personally, I think that the key to good skin is the right skin care line. Proactiv is good for serious acne, but at that point you are battling a problem by drying out your skin.

Try Clinique products. They'll give you a face type (at a counter in the mall or online) and they'll provide a range of products specifically geared for your face for the perfect balance. They also have acne stuff to fight the outbreaks, but you'll have a lot less of them once your face is properly taken care of.

Their acne products are great and they help me with my little breakouts from time to time, but I have so little breakouts now that I've gotten my face straight.

Jeez, I sound like a Clinique cultist. But it works, I promise.

By the way, they have a men's line--my bf uses it because I forced him. Now he loves it.

The term "shiatsu" refers to a form of Asian massage. This traditional massage uses techniques of digging deep into the muscle tissue to ease out knots and relieve tension. The shiatsu technique can involve patting, rotating, sweeping and vibrating the affected areas. Another popular technique is the "barefoot shiatsu" in which the therapist walks on the back of the patient to remove tension.

Many of today's shiatsu massage chairs are designed to imitate human touch. These chairs are often useful in the treatment of headaches, digestive problems, back pain and more. The benefits of shiatsu massage chairs can be likened to an actual massage. The difference is that with a massage chair, you can reap the benefits of this popular massage from your home at any time you wish.

New shiatsu massage chairs have buttons the consumer can choose from for different options. These options include kneading, pulsing and tapping. The key to getting the most from your massage session is to relax. If you are more tense than usual, you may be uncomfortable, and in some cases bruising may occur. To get a relaxing massage, relax and start out slow; limit your session to no more than fifteen minutes.

Shiatsu massage chairs are certainly at the head-of-the-class when it comes to massage chair therapy. These are probably among the most popular designs and those who have purchased them often say that they would never give it up.

If you are reluctant to the idea that a chair can provide a soothing deep massage, you should go try one out. Chances are that a store near you carries several lines of massage chairs and the salesperson will be happy to let you take a test massage. Although many people comment that the chairs are far from attractive, the massaging benefits are well worth lack of stylish appearance.

Account limit of 2124 requests per hour exceeded.

It's been said that if you want the best shiatsu massage chair that you should only buy Japanese. Sanyo are a Japanese manufacturer and they make some excellent chairs, however the HEC-SR1000K falls short on delivering the perfect shiatsu and for less money you can buy a better chair - and it isn't Japanese either.

Don't get me wrong, the Sanyo HEC-SR1000K isn't a bad chair, in fact it's quite good. However with its price tag of around $3,000 I would expect more in certain areas of functionality. So first let's see what's good about it.

Like all Sanyo massage chairs it comes with something called a Stiffness Sensor. The sensor is intelligent enough to locate areas of physical stiffness and automatically adjust to give a more personalized massage. It works by gauging perspiration and pulse with more than 1 million patterns of stiffness measurement.

Before each massage, the chair's Physical Shape Sensor adjusts massage heads automatically to an individual's body shape and shoulder height. The sensors will continually monitor and will change the massage heads even if the body position changes during massage or when reclining.

It comes with 7 automatic massage courses; Neck & Shoulders, Waist and Leg. The Leg course can be combined with the other 3 automatic courses. There are also a total of 11 manual courses; Massage, Tapping, Combination (Massage & Tapping), Stretch 1 (long), Stretch 2 (short),Massage + Stretch 1, Massage + Stretch 2, Tapping + Stretch 1, Tapping + Stretch 2, Combination + Stretch 1, Combination + Stretch 2.

The above features are extremely good and do deliver a great shiatsu massage around the shoulders and back. However, the chair does have some problems, at least for me.

First off, there's the general design of the chair. It's supposed to look sleek and contemporary without the usual bulk and thickness of other chairs. Its contemporary look is further enhanced with the black faux leather upholstery, wood arms and wood trim on the footrest. The chair really would look superb except for the back stand. In my opinion it looks ugly. Its shape looks out of keeping and its metal surfaces and gray trim only make it stand out more.

But aesthetics won't stop you getting a good massage but a poorly designed footrest will, and the Sanyo HEC-SR1000K chair really does have a very poor foot massager. I feel that aesthetic considerations came first and functionality second when this chair was designed. You have to manually adjust the rest for a leg, foot, calf or Achilles tendon massage. The administered massage is not very good and could in no way be described as Shiatsu.

At this price, the HEC-SR1000K is in direct competition with the Human Touch HT 125 massage chair - and the HT 125 is cheaper. The Human Touch massage chair offers pretty much the same massage courses, looks much nicer and has a far better foot massage - it has a powerful three-dimensional massage for calves and feet. As well as this the HT 125 also does a full body stretch - it grips the legs as the chair reclines to arch the back and gently stretch the entire body while massaging the lower back. The HT 125 chair isn't Japanese but it gives a better overall shiatsu massage than does the HEC-SR1000K.

In conclusion, the Sanyo HEC-SR1000K is a good robotic massage chair but it does lack in certain departments and because of it high price it is definitely worthwhile taking a look at what else is on offer.

Follow the links for the Sanyo massage chair or another robotic massage chair like the Inada, iJoy and Human Touch massage chair.

Investment: Do you think it would be profitable to purchase a massage chair for $2,000 to use at a women's

Charging $1 per 3 minutes. The shiatsu advanced kind of chair.

your sentence got cut off, so i don't know where you are thinking about putting it. I can tell you the Mall in my town has a row of those foot massages, all it does is vibrate your feet, but they are always full. they charge .50 cents per minute, so I think your idea may be good.
Good luck!

would this be a good christmas present for my dad?

my dad adopted me when i was younger and has been in my life since i was about 2 years old. I am 20 now. he is about to go on dialysis and i want to get him something to help him with pain or something thoughtful... i was thinking a back massager- not the ones that vibrate because those just make him dizzy but the ones that knead or whatever that actually feel like a massage. his legs and feet are bothering him so i was thinking a foot massager or something. as for thoughtful gift i was thinking those picture books you can get made at walmart or target that the pages are the actual pictures and i was thinking of getting pictures of me and him over the years. i am a daddys girl and i think he thinks im not his little girl anymore and i just want to show him i still am no matter how old i am! please any ideas are helpful! thank you! happy thanksgiving!

you should get him the biggest teddy bear that you can find and then you should get him like the stuff you said

its good that you love your dad and you have a feel for his pain!

good luck to you and your family!

We will take a look at the EP-1272 which is part of the Real Pro Elite series of massage chair by Panasonic. The EP 1272 is a mid range shiatsu massage recliner with advanced massage therapy features. We will review some of the main features and touch on the warranty coverage as well. Here is our evaluation and review of the EP 1272 shiatsu massage recliner.

We will start with the warranty coverage and then cover some of the important feature of the chair. Panasonic is a major electronics company with many products. The warranty service for this massage chair is initially provided through your retailer. If service is required, then the chair must be sent to an authorized repair center. The warranty coverage for this model is as follows: 3 years parts, 1 year labor. This is fairly short compared to other major manufacturers in the industry, which is somewhat surprising for such a large company.

Let's look at some of the more important features of this shiatsu recliner. There are many therapeutic massage functions incorporated into this model. There are 4 automatic massage programs, 8 manual massage programs, and 3 manual back massage courses. There are also lower body air massage capabilities for the calves and feet.

The 4 automatic programs include: shiatsu, Swedish, stretch and quick. Shiatsu provides overall stimulation of the back, neck and shoulders utilizing the soft shiatsu, deep rubbing and tapping actions. Swedish provides overall loosening of the muscles in the back, neck and shoulders using longer strokes, circular motions and rhythmic actions. Stretch provides overall stretching of the back muscles using the rolling, pressing, shiatsu and kneading massages. Quick provides loosening of the back, neck and shoulders using rhythmic actions, circular motions, squeezing and tapping.

The 8 manual massage modes include the following massage techniques: kneading, compression, Swedish, Hawaiian, soft shiatsu, tapping, regional rolling and full rolling. Kneading is particularly effective for the neck and shoulders. Compression is recommended for full body relaxation. Swedish loosens up large areas of the back. Hawaiian helps to relieve tension in the lower back. Soft shiatsu is excellent for loosening up knots in the back. Tapping loosens up the finer muscles of the neck or as a finishing massage. Regional rolling provides focused rolling out of the back muscles. Full rolling provides overall stretching of the back muscles.

The leg rest has a dual purpose massage. It can be used to massage the calves or the feet. If you place your legs into the leg rest, then it will target your calves. To massage your feet, the leg rest must be raised more horizontal and you must bend your knees to place your feet in. The leg rest provides an air compression massage. This is accomplished by energizing airbags built into the leg rest. They provide a gentle or firm squeeze, hold and release massage. This is particularly effective to relieve tight, sore or aching muscles in the calves and feet.

The remote control of the EP 1272 is well designed. The main automatic programs work from one-touch buttons. The manual massage functions are contained in a middle side panel of the main remote. The side panel can be flipped open to reveal the manual controls. You can adjust the massage intensity or speed. There is a function to adjust the width of the back rollers. This is used on the tapping, soft shiatsu and rolling massages. You can also select the area of focus for the back. There are options for the neck/shoulders, lower back and for pinpointing.

Overall, the Real Pro Elite model EP 1272 is a well designed shiatsu recliner. It comes with an excellent variety of massage therapies and can be effectively targeted to specific regions. The design aesthetics of the chair could have been better along with the warranty. The Panasonic EP 1272 does deliver effective massage therapy, so if you are in the market for a mid range massage chair, then this deserves your serious consideration.

All 3 main models of HoMedics massage chairs claim to deliver a shiatsu massage, but in all honesty, it depends on your expectation levels as to whether you'll be satisfied with the massage. Of the three, it's the Scandinavian and ottoman that I rate and would even consider buying.

The company is well known as a supplier of wellness products to promote relaxation and to improve health. It established a name for itself in its manufacture of back and body massagers. Following on from this success, the company expanded into the ever popular robotic massage chair market. Its chairs fall in the price range of between around $250 and $800, so by comparison to other companies, they are cheap and affordable by many.

First up is the HoMedics AntiGravity massage recliner chair. The company prattles on about NASA astronauts and so forth in its advertising, but what is basically meant by the term 'antigravity', is that when fully reclined your feet are slightly above your head. This position has been shown to help improve circulation and most find it a quite relaxing position to be in. There are four models to choose from, the AG-2101, AG-3000, AG-3001 and AG-3000. The AG-2101 is the cheapest. It comes with ten motors and produces a vibrating massage. There are 8 programs to select from - none of which I found to be very inspiring - and 3 speeds. I don't rate the massage but I like that the chair comes with heat in the lower lumbar region. I also its overall styling; sleek and contemporary.

The other three models are more expensive, even more stylish and also come with shiatsu massage on the back. Again, I found the massage to be rather disappointing. This was only because I've had an excellent shiatsu massage from a Sanyo massage chair, which was many times better, but the price of the Sanyo is also many times the price of the HoMedics AntiGravity.

The HoMedics eLounger looks more like a massage chair you'd expect. It retails for between around $500 and $800 depending on which model you choose. It's more sophisticated in technology than the AntiGravity model. You get modes of kneading, tapping, kneading and tapping and rolling. There are 3 programmed sessions - Full, Upper and Lower Back - that are approximately 15 minutes in length. This mdel is in direct competition with the iJoy massage chair range, and quite frankly I think it's better. Its styling is better than the iJoy as is its upholstery, control panel and - although a subjective comment - I prefer the administered massage.

So, would I buy it? No; instead, I might consider the last of the 3 HoMedics shiatsu massage chairs; the Scandinavian and ottoman. It retails for around $550 and looks very stylish with its black faux leather upholstery and wood arms and legs. It has the following modes; kneading, rolling, tapping and kneading and tapping combined. As well as a full program massage, you can select a partial one (focusing on a 4" range area of your body) or spot (focusing on just one spot for kneading or kneading and tapping). There are 3 intensities of low, medium and high and 3 speeds.

Finally, it has 3 zones of heat for lower back, seat and calves. Again, the claimed 'shiatsu' massage does leave a lot to be desired but you're never going to get a decent one at this price. Having said that, I find it to be relaxing and quite invigorating.

You're not going to get the best shiatsu massage from a HoMedics chair, but they are good value for money and will appeal to those looking for a simple and understated model.

Can some body give me recommendation for Top quality but reasonably priced Foot and calf massager.
I have short listed iJoy OTTOMAN 3.0 (by Human Touch), OSIM iSqueeze (by Brookstone--but expensive), 3Q Foot and Calf massager, Shiatsu squeeze Leg and calf massager.
If somebody can advice me on the product gives the best value for money without sacrificing the great feet and calf massage experience.
I am more inclined to iJoy Ottoman 3.0. But user's advice would be appreciated.

I found a massager at K Mart for $10.00. It stands on 3 legs. The round balls at the bottom of the legs light up when you hold the button in for on position. It seem to work well on calves and feet. It also is good for the scalp and the back of the neck. It has a nice output of massaging motion. Not to strong but enough to penetrate where you need to use it. It runs on a battery. I have also seen these at Wal-Greens. I get charlie horses in my calves and this unit is wonderful penetrating with out bringing out my charlie horses. Try it, I think you will like it. Everyone who has come into my home and used it has gone out to buy on for theirselves. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Life can be hectic, crazy, busy and stressful, but when it is time to relax you have to look no further than the iJoy massage chair from Human Touch, the world leader in massage technology. The iJoy is a deluxe, high quality massage chair that will provide you with years of relaxing, soothing, and invigorating massages, at a remarkably affordable price.

The secret of the iJoy massage chair lies with the patented Human Touch massage system that closely replicates therapeutic techniques used by chiropractors and massage professionals. This advance technology employs a three motor mechanism that follows the contours of your spine. To this unique motion, Human Touch has added a quad-roller assembly that performs like the hands of an expert masseuse. The result is a multidimensional massage that can therapeutically boost the circulatory and immune systems, and feels incredibly good.

Only chairs with the Human Touch massage system, like the iJoy massage chair, can replicate all major massage modes. These include rolling, which gently relieves tension and loosens muscles along the spine. Kneading, a circular pressing motion that goes deeper to lift and stretch muscles for improved circulation. Percussion, a rapidly tapping motion that flexes spinal joints, relieves pressure, and invigorates the entire back.

And, compression, an exclusive Human Touch feature that firmly massages muscles on each side of the spine for improved mobility and posture. The various massage modes that the iJoy has are programable through the included controller to give you just the touch you prefer, exactly where you want it on your back.

Recline the iJoy massage chair automatically and get comfortable with a luxurious head pillow, removable softening pad, and rich soft suede upholstery. With three preprogrammed modes you can kick back and enjoy a soothing upper, lower, or full back massage with just a push of a button. These beautiful chairs are available in black and cashew colors to compliment any room in your home. Once you've sat in and used an iJoy chair, you will become a convinced that robotic technology has, at long last, the human touch.

Having an iJoy massage chair is like having your own personal masseuse. If you have never tried one out before, you deserve to give yourself permission to splurge on yourself and give it a try. You will be amazed at how amazing these chairs really do feel. The first time you do, you'll be sold. The various modes described above can even be combined on some Human Touch chairs. The higher end chairs have even more modes, like stretching (emulates traction by gently stretching and decompressing the spine), customized roller width adjustment, and calf kneading.

Life is short and stressful enough, so why not do something nice for yourself or someone you love and get an iJoy massage chair. They are not only beneficial to your mental and physical health, they are also a beautiful piece of furniture that you will be proud to have in your home. Don't hesitate. The Human Touch iJoy massage chair is truly like no other. Once you use one and learn how truly wonderful and relaxing it can be to get a robotic massage you'll never look back. People may even wonder why you walk around with a little grin on your face.

One of the most popular models of the Human Touch robotic massage chair is the HT 125. It's definitely stylish, has shiatsu massage as wells as full body stretch and comes with foot and calf massager and it can give a pretty decent massage. But, with its price tag of over $2,000, there are one or two features it lacks.

The Human Touch 125 chair looks very stylish as is certainly one of the best looking chairs on the market. What's nice is that it looks kind of like a regular piece of furniture and would look great in most homes and offices - the HT125 certainly doesn't have the 'dentist's chair' look that many other brands of chairs have. It also comes upholstered in leather and leather match in Black, Cashew or Red.

It retails for around $2,300 and has many features you'd expect at this price; power-recline, 170 degree recline and massage functions of Rolling, Kneading, Compression and Percussion that offer a pretty good shiatsu massage. Another really nice feature is the Full Body Stretch - it locks your ankles and then fully reclines, to stretch your back while administering a gentle massage to the lower back - this is one of my favorite routines and I'm always glad to see it as a feature on a robotic massage chair.

The HT125 chair is in direct competition in terms of style, features and pricing with the Sanyo HEC-SR1000K Massage Chair. When comparing the two, the Human Touch chair fairs well in some areas while not so good in others.

What I prefer about the HT 125 over the Sanyo massage chair is the foot massager. Both have a massager that needs to be manually moved to either the calf or foot - HEC-SR1000K can also be moved to massage behind the knees and the Achilles tendons - however, the massager on the HT is much better. The massager can also grip your ankles so you get a full body stretch (as mentioned above) but the Sanyo doesn't have this ability, so there's no full body stretch available.

Though not the most important point, I also prefer the overall look of the HT.

Both chairs offer pretty much the same massage modes and speed but when it comes to massage programs, Sanyo offers more. You get 7 automatic courses compared to 3 of the HT. The Sanyo also offers 11 manual courses.

But where the Sanyo really outdoes the HT, is its use of cutting edge technology that gives the chair a Physical Shape Detection Sensor and Stiffness Detection Sensor. The first automatically adjusts the massage heads to the shape of your spine, while the second uses pulse and perspiration to target specific areas of stiffness using an exclusive massage program for each person according to physical combinations and stiffness. The best the HT can offer is to allow you to manually change the position of the rollers.

In summary the HT 125 is a good robotic massage chair from Human Touch; it looks great, offers decent shiatsu, full body stretch and an acceptable foot massage. But it does lack some of the more sophisticated technology that is increasingly being to put to use in other chairs.

If I have a nice crusty loaf of Italian bread and I want to warm it up so the crust is crispy but the inside is soft, how do I go about it? Should the oven be hot or just warm? How long should I leave it in? Should I wrap the bread in aluminum foil or just put it in? Thanks for taking the time to answer!

If you want crispy crust then put the bread in a 300 degree over for about 5 minutes or so. Don't wrap the bread in anything as this would make the crust soft.

Many owners are not ready to handle their pet rabbit's pregnancy. Considering the high mortality rate of newborn bunnies, it is no surprise that many are confused as to what they should do. There are plenty of useful tips that owners can adopt and this starts by gathering the right information from reliable sources.

It is not encouraged to allow your bunny to get pregnant. There is already an overgrown of rabbit population in the world, and if you wanted another one, then you should consider getting them from an animal shelter. Bunnies may be cute but they grow up very fast and in many cases, they are abandoned when they are no longer cute.

However, if your rabbit is pregnant, there are good tips you can follow to care for them and raise the survival chances of its babies. A doe hide her pregnancy quite well. Even experienced vet sometimes made mistakes in their assessment when checking if there is pregnancy.

As a matter of fact, you can hardly notice any change of behaviour in the doe. The easiest way to tell if your female pet rabbit is pregnant is to see if she rejects the advancement of the buck. About two weeks after conceiving, you may be able to feel the foetus inside her womb. It feels marble-like.

The gestation period is between 28 to 31 days. During this time, just provide her with adequate food and water. She may begin her nesting process about one week before delivery. Some pet rabbits only started building her nest as little as three days or one day before delivery.

The doe build its nest by gathering hay and shredding newspaper. She will also pull fur from her own chest. Each rabbit's pregnancy may result in 7 to 13 kits (baby rabbits are called kits). It is not surprising to see the doe immediately leaving its kits after birthing. This may be inherited from their wild cousins to prevent attracting the attention of predator animals.

This may be the right time to check on the bunnies. Unlike other smaller animals, rabbits do not mind human touching their offspring. Check if the babies are warm. If they are not, then you can wrap warm water bottle with towel and place in the nest to help them stay warm.

As the mother rabbit nurse their young ones only twice a day and each nursing takes less than 5 minutes, you may need to play the role of surrogate parents. Suitable formulated milk powder and feeding bottle may be bought from pet store or from a vet.

It is important to gather as much information as possible on pregnant rabbits care . Taking care of pregnant rabbit and raising baby rabbits may be a big responsibility but it is a very rewarding experience.
