But that same realism can be the basis for seeing things in perspective that can either serve you in reducing stress or increase your levels of unhappiness and anxiety. Things may be, bad.But, they rarely have to stay that way.</p>
<p>Acknowledging what is real and recognizing that it's possible to create or acquire new values to replace a loss is key to avoiding long term stress. Long term stress, which often accompanies or leads to depression, tends to be self-reinforcing. You feel bad, so things look bad. Things look bad, so you feel worse.</p>
<p>Objectivity and re-committing oneself to the achievement of what is important to you is essential for breaking the cycle. But recognize that gaining those values is an achievement, one requiring thought and action. Rarely do they simply arrive in some equivalent of a winning lottery ticket.</p>

Some people start working at home thinking that they are going to find it a lot more stressful and free from a lot of the anxiety that plague people who work standard employment with an employer. Reasons for stress in a work at home business can be caused by a variety of factors. These factors include the normal reasons why a person may be stressed at work but there are others which may be less evident in traditional employment. The major reasons for stress are the need to balance a person's working and personal life. It can be caused by the need to make your home based business profitable. After all it is no good working for ones self, if no money is being made from working this way. There can also be the stress of isolation. Working at home takes people away from the social network, which is a part of normal employment.</p>

Stress is not uncommon in the workplace. Many people overlook the level of stress that is involved and this unfortunately can lead to medical conditions developing without a person being aware of the danger they are in.  High blood pressure is referred to as the silent killer. Many people allow stress get to them and this in turn leads to high blood pressure leading to strokes and heart attacks.  Other health problems include stomach discomfort and nausea. This makes it doubly important that stress is dealt with by taking care of oneself. </p>

It is also important to exercise to keep the body and mind fit. Therefore take time off during the day from your work at home business to go for a jog or for a swift walk. You might also find a variety of ways to get exercise depending on what sports or activities you enjoy.</p>
